This place is our favorite place. The food quality and variety is excellent. In our busy lives, everyone should have a local place this good!
Awesome food. Staff service was so incredible with greeting and serving
The customers. Highly recommend ??
I visit this marvelous place every couple of days as I love the special atmosphere that is exist in this restaurant. The staff is very welcoming and experienced. The service is pretty fast. Most important, the food you eat is excellent. I have been there more than once and I was always joyful. The expense is decent. I highly suggest this restaurant to my friends and family.
The food was absolutely delicious!! Service was excellent!! Friendly staff and atmosphere was great. Everyone in our group all agreed we will return!
Stopped in for late evening dinner to celebrate my sister's birthday. Great service. Received our food about 15 mins after ordering. All 5 of our dinners were delicious. Each were served with soup or salad and bread. Brought our own libations. Canolis for desert. Will be visiting again for sure!
Easily the best Italian I have had in a long LONG time. The stuffed rigatoni in a vodka sauce was my favorite thing on the menu. A must get. The margarita pizza, also insane. The pasta fagioli was delicious as well. Great and easy pickup. Very COVID friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Solid Italian. Good for pizza or more involved entrees. Hidden gem for sure.
The service was fantastic I had the escrow and bean soup and it's one of the best soup I've ever had I know I will be that back there soon
Great food and atmosphere! Service was very good as well.
The food was freshly made and the service was great
Today was my second time there! I got the 10 inch personal pizza both times! Very good pizza! They are super nice there and very friendly. I would like to try the outdoor dining there one of these days.
So this was my wife's and I 1st experience with Tuscany Villa (recommend highly by friends) and I have to say it won't be the last, the food was fresh and great tasting, exelecent sauces, lightning fast delivery, the delivery person Jared was extremely polite and also wore a mask. If you are looking for seafood dishes I would recommend the Stuffed Salmon with Risotto and Shrimp and Scallop Combo, the dishes we fantastico, very generous portions, great price and great service, would recommend to anyone looking for a good Italian Ristorante.
Unaware of the pandemic rules that restaurants must close at 8, we called at what would be too late to order. The gentleman who answered the phone said don’t worry about it and still made our order. Not only was it honestly delicious but this degree of customer service was amazing, the integrity was not compromised by making it fast and he could’ve just dismissed us. Thank you for making our night, we will be back!!
They don't deliver, but I'm happy to pick up. I found this place because it's so close to my job (florist down the street) and have been eating here ever since. People are so friendly and courteous. I have never had a bad experience or meal here. It's always fresh and delicious. Their sauce is incredible.

Great local Italian food. Medium price meals and pizza specials. Fast friendly service.
We love it there close to home and the food is good
Always good. Literally everything we've eaten here is good.
Great food and great service. The pasta was excellent. Will be returning.,
Great service and great pizza. Prices are reasonable for the food amounts given. Delicious food!
Fantastic spot to grab some food when in a rush. Their customer service is rapid, rates are affordable, awesome ambience. I highly recommend this place
Food is outstanding it was a little busy service was slow
My go-to in this area for great pizza! I've only had the pizza and wings so I can't rate the rest of the menu, but the pizza is phenomenal. They don't deliver, but it's worth the trip or takeout!
My family and I have always had a positive experience. Definitely recommend!
Food quality and service was excellent. Love having the option of outdoor dining.
This place is amazing!! Top of the line staff!! My one and only complaint is on the behalf of the hardworking staff here. Several times I have been here while the wait staff is busting their tails bringing out HOT foods to customers. Inconsiderate Moms and Dads are allowing their rambunctious children run around the restaurant like they are in a Chuck E. Cheese. They will not tell them to sit or behave. If my kids EVER acted like this, they would NEVER go out with me. Youre in a restaurant!! Not a park. The wait staff are struggling not to dump food on your child!! But this day in age these parents would be the first in line to sue. Get it together Parents..you know who you are!! Stop it
The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious, from the calamari to the gnocchi in vodka sauce. Being a BYOB is also a big plus! Will definitely be back.
This place is very good. Their buffalo chicken is one of the best I’ve ever had. Buffalo chicken salad for the kill. ?? Salads and sandwiches are amazing.
This place just opened and it seems a little unorganized. We were seated, got our menu's and ordered...waited a pretty long time for rice ball and mussel apps, but they were worth the wait, the rice ball was delish and the sauce on the mussels was so good we used all out bread to sop is up. The meal came, one got meat lasagna, it looked more like a pancake, there were 2 layers of noodle and meat sauce and cheese, tasted good, but very strange looking. I had scungilli and calamari with pasta - this was very good. There were 2 other dishes, baked ziti and chicken parm, both were good but both said if the same sauce was that was on the mussels was on these dishes it would have been great. We will give it another shot, it is new and it was very busy.
This is a brand new pizzeria and restaurant, opened by the same owner as Delizia in Boonton. We tried the pizza takeout which was a good, typical jersey slice. We went and ate inside tonight which was great. We had soups and salads to start- both good. For dinner we ordered stuffed shells, stuffed rigatoni in vodka sauce and shrimp scampi with garlic bread on the side. The garlic bread was intense but so so good! the entrees were very good as well. after dinner cappuccino and cannoli were yummy. the only thing i would change is to make the bad restaurant slightly more formal, but for what it is, it's delicious. something we need desperately in town! definitely will be going back!
We sat in a booth right up front so had to deal with the people coming in and out for takeout but overall a nice atmosphere. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was delicious and very fresh! I had the Shrimp Bartolo which was shrimp with arugula and chopped tomatoes over risotto in a scampi sauce. Awesome! Pene vodka was also on the money according to my son. Plenty of parking. It's also BYOB or wine in my case.
They just started but doing a good job! Very nice staff eager to please. Food is prepared well and fresh. Give it a try !
I went here for the first time this past weekend. I have been wanting to try it since it opened. It is just a regular pizza parlor although it looks like more than that from the front of the building. Prices are great and the selection is huge. The staff are friendly and eager to help you. The food came out fast and the waitress came to check on us several times. I think we were in and out within an hour. The food was pretty good. I didn't see what I wanted on the menu so I asked if I was just missing it. They asked me what I wanted and made it for me even though it wasn't on the menu. I just wanted a spaghetti with sausage and broccoli rabe. The parking is great. Everything was great here! Will be back over and over again. I think I may have found a new place to order pizza from and even take out.
Tuscany Villa is a very interesting paradox. Let me start with my food experience. Not knowing what to expect, I had imagined this would be a nice restaurant based on the look from the outside. ( I know, book....cover...etc) It is really just a standard pizzeria that serves Italian dishes. The prices, however, is more like a fine Italian restaurant in Hoboken or Little Italy. We ordered a pizza for the kids, fried zucchini, a wrap with chicken, mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes and broccoli rabe, and I ordered the filet of Sole special with white wine, capers, and olives. The pizza was fine, nothing to write home about. The zucchini was outstanding, crisp and well seasoned. The wrap that my wife ordered was very tasty. My fish special was absolutely delicious. The two problems that I had was there was actually very little fish. I expected a filet (for $29.95) but actually only got a few chunks of fish served over what they are calling risotto, but I disagree. The rice was a heavy, glutinous, mass in the middle of the plate. I like it more to Chinese sticky rice (which I really like for dim sum, but would never refer to it as risotto). That being said, the white wine, capers, and olives in the sauce were really tasty, and I would love to order that sauce again, just perhaps over something more substantial like a fish filet or chicken.
There was a lot of anticipation as this beautiful, large, Italian style building was going up. We all though it would be more akin to the Italian Village in Caldwell, with a nice restaurant and possibly a bakery and market. It is actually a regular pizza place and casual Italian restaurant located in just one small corner of the building. The rest of the building is a standard mini-mall with a Bagel shop, a Bank, and a few vacant store fronts.
The servers were outstanding, very friendly and attentive and got our orders spot on. Also, another huge plus is they are BYOB.
I will eat here again, just keep your expectations in mind, this is a pizzeria, not a fine dining establishment.
One of the best Italian restaurants we have been to. The food was great, service was exceptional, and the decor was cool. Their garlic bread was the star of the show. Will come back again, and highly recommend this place.
Only been a few times so far, but the owners have a killer place up the road, so no real doubt. Great pizza, lots of available slices or pies. Great garlic knots. Killer pasta, dine in or take out both awesome.
First time here for my wife and I. Ordered fried calamari with chunky spicy tomato sauce.it was very tasty with the calamari cooked perfectly. The escarole and Bean soup was very flavorful. The main entrees were rigatoni calabrese and chicken parm. Both were very very good. For desert we ordered the chocolate lava cake and the canolli. They were also fantastic with a delicious double expresso.
The wait staff was extremely attentive and came to our booth three times to see how things were.
Prices were reasonable, food was great and service was exceptional. What more can you ask for. It's even a BYOB. This will be my new local restaurant for a while.
.
My first experience at Tuscany was pretty horrendous. It was a few weeks after the restaurant opened, so I guess I can attribute the poor quality of the experience to the establishment's newness.
My second trip to Tuscany was much better. My brother and I got two pre-made made slices, and they were delicious! We were given more attention from the wait staff, so I was generally, much more satisfied with the experience.
It makes me very happy to see a restaurant hit its stride, and to pull itself out of a place that, I perceived to be, pretty low.Tuscany is a great destination for families, and high school or college kids to grab a quick slice. I can't wait to go back and see Tuscany continue to improve.
Best pizza place in town by far. They have so many options and make high quality pizza. Service is always fast and the staff are very nice. If you go to any other pizza pace in montville you are making a mistake. Just wish they did delivery!
Went here with a friend. The food is fabulous. Friend had scallops, a special that day. Copious amount of scallops. I had veal francese. Best I've had in years. Went back and got a take out meal. Was delicious. Not fancy inside but don't let that stop you from eating there. It is the real deal.
The food is always great! We mostly order to go but the two times we ate in the service was great! We have many options of pizza places much closer to us but this one by far is the best.
Wow! Is all I can say. I've been here a handful of times and have never been disappointed . I had a party of 20 here last minute and they were great and very accomodating I've had take out great. And have dined in. Courteous and professional all the way!
Although the exterior cues "high end Italian restaurant" this is an affordable Italian restaurant with great food and classy interior. The owner definitely spent a pretty penny putting this place together, considering what the place offers. Big menu with many options. Outside seating is wonderful on a summer day.
My boyfriend and I were impressed by the food, as we had not set out expectations that high. But the food is fantastic! Wishing we had been coming here more often since the opening!
Ordered the Tuscan salad (had me at goat cheese!) There was a very generous amount of chicken on it, and not your average mediocre salad chicken but a marinated delicious one!
Boyfriend got a panini, he loved it , especially the panini bread that he figured must have been freshly made in-house. The side French fries were amazing!!!
BYOB.
Looks like we are going to be regulars here.
Great experience.
Other Yelpers have hit the nail on the head. From the outside you expect a much fancier establishment inside. Knowing the atmosphere before you go in really makes it a great experience.
The server was super friendly. She knew the menu inside and out.
Our food came out hot, tasted great. Each dish had its own flavor and was perfectly seasoned.
The price was reasonable especially for the amount of food given.
It is a BYOB and there is a liquor store next door if you need a bottle.
I love this place going back tonight looking forward to eating their eggplant parm
And one of their amazing Canolis Our waitress last timewas Elaine she was very accomodating and her timing was "spot on"we always
enjoyable evening
Friendly staff, yummy food and great ambiance.. lot of options on the menu..... I would definitely recommend this place.... Bon appetite
In a town so overly-saturated with Italian food, I gotta say Tuscany Villa has quickly become my favorite. Food is amazing (highly recommend a Calzone or Brooklyn Wrap) and the staff is always friendly and polite.
Prices are definitely better than a lot of the nearby competition too.
Great little Pizza and Italian place. We've been here a few times and love their pizza and garlic knots. This last visit we gave the Deep Dish pizza a try and thought it was great as well. Staff are all polite and friendly
We have been wanting to have lunch or dinner since the restaurant opened, so finally a couple days ago I went with my daughters. They loved the food - gnocchi with vodka sauce along with the delicious garlic bread we were served before our meal. I had the pepperoni and cheese Stromboli and it was great tasting with lots of flavor. Our server was great, very attentive and on point with serving our meals and checking on our progress as we enjoyed our meals. I have to say it's one of the best Italian restaurants we have been to in a long time and it's close to our home. The food excellent, prices are fair, service great, very clean restaurant, decorated nicely. We will be returning for another awesome meal and highly recommend this place, and it's BYOB.
I've dined in and have ordered takeout from here a bunch of times. Everything I've ever ordered, I've really enjoyed. Their salads are fresh and their pizza is very good. They always have a variety of different pizzas ready to order by the slice. Their prices are incredibly reasonable, and they have "family specials" available for dine-in and takeout, most of which are under $25.
The interior is clean and nice but not over-the-top fancy, with a more "casual" dining area in the front and table service in the back. They also have outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall a great place for delicious Italian food in the area!
Good service on a busy Saturday night. Salads were fresh, but a little too much dressing given for such a small plate. Shrimp and Brocolli Rabe appetizer had lovely five plump shrimp with small chopped pieces of rabe. Special stuffed salmon had a great sear and nice amount of greens on the dish. Rossoto was white and creamy cheese with flecks parsley. Veal Sorrentino was tender with a rich brown gravy which I chose to have with angel spaghetti. Nice size portions. Got a piece of Tiramisu to go and it was delightful!
Live down the road. This is a go to place in montville at this point. Huge pizza slice slection.
Great food, i love the wraps and panninis, also the entrees. clean
10/10 Food and service. There was one instance where they were busy but still made every one of their customers a priority. And that's what you should be looking for in a restaurant.
Tuscany is a great option if you're in the 'burbs and looking for a reasonably priced pizza place. The food isn't spectacular (when has pizza in the suburbs ever been?) but you do get a solid amount of food a fair price. Four of us shared the family special #8 which costs $29.95 and comes with (1) a large plain pie, (2) 12 wings, (3) a large salad, and (4) 12 garlic knots. It's a lot of food for $30!
I guess we'll start with the pizza which I found decent. It wasn't amazing or great in any fashion, but it got the job done. The sauce was probably the best part -- there was plenty of it, and it had a tinge of sweetness -- but the crust was also not bad. My biggest gripe is that the dough was too thick; I'm a big fan of New York-styled pizza and this was not it. The wings were cooked deliciously and were fried to perfection, but they were not hot at all and were exceedingly salty. Like, really, really, tremendously salty. Funnily enough, I actually didn't even know they were hot wings until I re-read the order for this review.
The salad and the garlic knots were negligible for me and I wouldn't have minded not getting either. I think salads at pizza joints baaaarely qualify as salads as they're more often than not just veggies thrown together (and very roughly chopped at that), and I really wasn't a fan of the red peppers. I've never seen red peppers in a salad before. I also found the knots to be quite bland and doughy. They were not good without the marinara sauce so I think that speaks to the quality. I had one and forgot about them.
Come for what sounds like good service (based on other reviewers' experiences) and what is most certainly a bang for your buck, but don't have your pizza expectations too high!
I tried the large cheese pizza special Tuscany Villa offers on Monday and Tuesday for the first time last week. The pie is 16" and loaded with cheese. I really enjoyed the flavor of the ingredients and the crust was not too thin or thick. It was in the "Goldilocks" zone. At $10.95, it is a real deal. The restaurant is virtually new and has a very inviting ambiance and friendly engaging wait staff. They have a large menu of many Italian favorites, all reasonably priced.
Terrific soups - I recommend the Escarole and Beans - a little spicy but hits the spot - generous portions, friendly wait staff and very clean restaurant
Food is really good. I've ordered many times especially they run family dinner specials.
Today they forgot a part of my order after I already left. Not only did they call right after walking out when I called back and said I would come they offered to credit me or I could come pick up. I said I live close and since we had just sat down to eat I'd pick up after we finished what we already have. The guy on the phone took my address and said he would drop it off in a few minutes since I was so close. Amazing customer service will definitely keep me coming back along with the delicious food!
Great little local Italian restaurant. Been here twice since we moved to Towaco in April and we haven't been disappointed yet. Both times had a group of ten adults and children, service has been great and the place is very clean. Standard red sauce isn't for me, but their specialty pasta dishes and chicken meals have been fantastic. Also the appetizers have all been above average.
Will come back. Also BYOB is a huge plus.
Great space, great people, good food. Traditional Northern Italian food.
Very nice restaurant atmosphere. Service and food was excellent.
Stopped in for lunch with my parents- not only were they accommodating, we had awesome service and I haven’t has chicken francaise, THIS AWESOME, in a LONG time!!!
Will DEFINITELY be back soon!
Great food, great service, large selective menu, great lunch specials offered and the staff was very good. One of the best breads I have ever eaten also served here. Great neighborhood eatery.
The food is delicious, and the staff is friendly and courteous. The veal with fettuccine alfredo is from other world. The garlic bread is really good, but the best of the best is the fried calamari....I can't wait to come back again....
